Also, for best performance, PHP OpCache should be enabled. Keep in mind, like any cache type of processes, any updates done may not be visible immediately. OpCache has a setting (opcache.revalidate_freq) that sets how quickly a file should be checked for updates and serve the updated version of the file. The default value is 2 seconds. When various settings of the PHP Live! system is updated, the change may not be visible immediately if the opcache.revalidate_freq value set to anything greater then 1 second. The changes are updated, but the cache process is serving up cached content. If you check back after the set frequency value, you should see the updates.
